Vietnamese Food

I have to admit that I really love Vietnamese Food. In Thailand, Vietnamese food is quite popular because the food is so tasty; it comes with many types of vegetables on the side; and it is so affordable. When I lived in Chicago, my place is located near Argyle which is famous for Vietnamese restaurants and the Vietnamese market nearby. I often bought Vietnamese sandwiches and Pho noodle to take away. Since then, I promised to myself I will go to Vietnam someday and try as many dishes as I could. Just imagine that it must be like living in a heaven if I can have all the Vietnamese foods that I yearn for every day. Lol

Quan An Ngon
Address: 18 Phan Boi Chau, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi

My friend, Nguyen, invited me and my sister for lunch at Quan An Ngon Restaurant on the last day of our trip. I really liked the place and enjoyed such fresh local dishes that my friend ordered for us. There are soooo many menus and I’m not kidding! It’s simply a wonderful restaurant to eat with friends and family where you will experience and witness good foods serving and preparing around you. Therefore, it’s quite common that you would copy the orders from your neighbor tables; or on the flip side they would copy yours and even directly ask you with cheerful smiles what kinds of food that you have ordered. In short, it was so fun to be there and just to eat as much as you can. I loved the place. Gosh, My stomach was going to explode with joyfulness.  I definitely will go back and eat there again if I have a chance in the future, and I would highly recommend you to try as well. :)

The Hill Station
Address: 7 Muong Hoa, Sapa

I have fallen in love with the modern stylish interior design of this beautiful restaurant. First of all, I viewed on Tripadvisor.com for a nice place to have dinner with my sister in Sapa. Somehow, I wrote down the address but we went to another restaurant with similar name. (I should mention that I’m very easy to get lose. Lol) So, I gave up and we decided to look around, enjoyed the view and good air of Fansipan mountain first. On the way back, we just saw the Hill Station, and would love very much to try some dishes there. I liked the atmosphere and the fact that you could enjoy that foggy mountain. It was just really amazing! :)
Bun Bo Nam Bo
Address: 67 Hang Dieu, Hanoi

Bun Bo is a Vietnamese noodle menu. Again, I trusted reviews on Tripadvisor.com which many travelers would suggest this place. Surely, for me, it met well with my expectation and my craving for original Vietnamese noodles. I felt my sister and I were so lucky to meet our new friend, Than, at Hoan Kiem Lake where I asked him for direction. Than was very kind to bring us there and buy us that wonderful meal with some side orders to try. We would never get the place if we went there by ourselves because streets in Hanoi are quite complicated for me. Thanks to Than and friendship he gives us. We are truly impressed by the country beauty, wonderful foods, and genuineness of our Vietnamese friends. :)

Food Buffet from Hoa Lu – Tam Coc Tour

I read some reviews that you shouldn’t expect much for the buffet which would include in Hoa Lu – Tam Coc One Day Tour. Some people would say it’s not a bad idea to prepare your own food and bring with you. For me, I would say the buffet was quite okay.
